Geraint is a fellow of the Historical Association; he has served on the HA secondary committee, has written several articles for Teaching History and regularly delivers workshops at national and international conferences.  ​ As an education consultant, Geraint has supported schools and multi-academy trusts on a variety of aspects of school improvement at subject and senior leader level. He has extensive experience of training, mentoring and coaching teachers, from trainee teachers to experienced senior leaders.  Since completing his MEd in Educational Leadership and School Improvement at Cambridge University, Geraint has gained wide-ranging experiences of international education. He is an accredited trainer for Cambridge Assessment International Education, where he continues to deliver training and coaching for senior leaders from across the world. Geraint is passionate about learning outside the classroom. He is a qualified Mountain Leader and has substantial experience of leading adventurous and historical educational trips abroad, from the battlefields of the First World War to Berlin and from Morocco to Central Asia.

Catherine has worked extensively with Initial Teacher Training: as a mentor for the Cambridge University History PGCE, leader of the BEST History SCITT (school-centred initial teacher training), and as Professional Tutor and ITTCo (initial teacher training coordinator) in two large secondary schools. ​ Catherine is a serving member of the Historical Association's Secondary Committee and contributes to the journal Teaching History. She regularly provides professional development for various organisations. ​ As a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) and Education Consultant, Catherine has ten years of experience supporting schools, multi-academy trusts, and leading UK-based and international exam boards. She is experienced in delivering professional development and facilitating National Professional Qualifications (NPQs), and has authored several books and articles. ​Catherine is a mum to three young children and a passionate advocate of flexible working. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering as a governor, and reading, swimming, and running.
